Well where I live Rogers was not available so we had a local company that did internet, phones and TV. They’ve been around for who knows how long and then they sold out to Rogers, so now Roger has taken over. I HATE Rogers, there’s so many new ‘rules’ since I last used them.

With ACI (my local company) the internet was fast, and it was unlimited usage per month for a good price, and TV was a good price to (I had a PVR/DVR box which allowed me to record., etc.) - I could record PPV movies and the whole bit.

So now Rogers has taken over, they limit your bandwith usage online (my plan is 60 GB p/m. I know I probably won’t use that much but I find it somewhat of a joke tbh. The rogers cable guide is also gross, it’s hard to get use to, I’m not allowed to record PPV movies or any movies for that matter.

I’m very disappointed in Rogers right now, I have a feeling I will be for a long time. But I guess I have to live with it as my parents don’t want Bell…

Well, Shane Rounce and a couple of investors are starting a new site (must keep it secret so I can’t spill the beans!) and they’ve asked me to code the PHP, and if everything keeps going as well as it is now and I can get some of the site up and running by the weekend I’m probably in!

I’m excited, I must admit. This is a pretty big thing for a 13 year old (did I mention it pays pretty good? [for a 13 year old]) not just for the money but it would be spectacular for my portfolio if I ever get around to making one.

This also means if all goes well I’ll be able to purchase my MacBook that I’ve wanted for quite a while now which would be amazing. I really need to get my crap off the family PC (my family is getting quite ticked that the PC has no space left!).

I’ll keep you guys updated with how things go in terms of being hired or not, probably by the weekend sometime.
